I'm not on a high horse... This is just one of those issues that gets to me. If you're just some guy who happens to be in the same restroom with me and I see you exit without washing your hands, I really don't care. But in a poker room where there's a chance that you could be at my table and we're both handling the same cards, well, I don't like the thought of that. I find it gross. Hell, at Foxwoods I regularly see players exit the stalls and proceed right to the tables without making a stop at the sink. I assume you at least wash in that situation.

The Commerce bathrooms are disgusting. The worst thing I ever heard/saw in there was two guys shitting in stalls next to eachother and telling eachother bad beat stories while taking craps.

It sounded like this, "So I'm on the button with Ace Jack and *grunt* the flop comes JJQ and *grunt* *fart* so I bet..."

I wanted to stab my ears out.

Of course, but I think that's a significant difference. I don't want to keep hijacking this thread, but basically if you don't pee on your hands when you take a leak, all you're touching is the pants and the penis. And if neither are filthy, you're no worse off than when you touched the chips/cards/racks/felt/etc.

I think you'd be surprised if you found out the number of guys who don't feel the need to scour their hands with soap every time they touch their johnson. There was a poll in OOT earlier this year about it.

Throughout the day your hands accumulate pathogens and chemicals that can cause you and others disesase and of course they also accumulate oil and dirt, etc. It is not suggested that we wash our hands everytime we go to a bathroom because something terrible happens everytime we go in the bathroom and touch our dicks and if we don't wash our hands we'll instantly die, but just to ensure that a few times a day we are cleansing our hands to maintain good hygeine for our own health and the health of the public. It's no different than, say, automobile manufacturers that suggest you check your tire pressure everytime you go to the service station: it's to ensure there is a regular schedule of prevention and maintenance.

But I'm one of the players who doesn't feel the need to scour my hands every time I urinate. If I don't pee on my hands, what's the point? My hands get much filthier after I touch the chips than after I go the bathroom, so using Andy's logic I should really be washing my hands BEFORE I do my "business."

Wash before out of consideration for your girlfriend. Wash after out of consideration for us (even if it is the most washed part of your body).

Default Hawaiian Gardens Has the best splashguards!

All public restrooms should get the splashguards used at Hawaiian Gardens - the only ones that totally prevent urinal splashback. The HG guards are made of material simialar to those green scouring pads used in the kitchen (the kind with the sponge on the other side). They cover quite of bit of area and have a web address printed on them I forgot to write down since my hands were otherwise occupied.

Simply the best invention I've seen since silent velcro

1) This is FAR more information about the guys who play at Commerence than I need or want to think about.
2) What does it say about us when news of a new bathroom in a casino generates about 50 replies?
3) I think I'll just hold everything when I play from now on. Just call 911 if my eyes turn yellow or brown.
