Hey Thumb,

I support your right to do whatever makes you happy. Fact is, you may be the most entertaining person who has posted here in a while.

I don't play at your stakes, but many others here do. I think some here should set up a private table for you...where you are understood.

I'm sure you can call any 2+2er a MF, or cuss, scream, talk about P.O.T. or whatever else.

Think of it as a support group for your two favorite habits...P.O.T. and poker.

Wow! Some of these posts shock the hell out me. It is a perfect example of how the “poker explosion” has brought in so many new people to the game. Don’t you realize your just talking with a “maniac”. You supposed to be intelligent, thinking, experienced card players who post on 2+2 which I believe makes some of you think you are somehow superior.

Maniacs have been around forever. There are literally sections of books written on how to play against a maniac. You should get out the house sometime and go to a book store.

As others have written I too have played against BrownThumb in “real” money games and frankly he is always welcome at my table. He definitely livens the game up and in my experience has been a pleasure to play with.

I don’t ever have my chat on so if someone is talking I wouldn’t know it anyways. It really shocks me how many people actually have there chat on. It has been discussed to death on these forums and the “experienced” always chime in that for limit poker it is definitely –EV. It may have some merit in NL but I lack the experience to form an opinion on that subject.

Finally, BrownThumb, I don’t really know what you’re looking for but your perfectly fine by me. If you want me to complain to PM about letting you chat. I won’t do that. I understand how people don’t want to be called a MF’er, etc. Why they don’t turn it off and just play cards is beyond me but I do sympathize with them.

My wife hates playing thinking Poker and she just does it for fun. It is her right and I never say a word about any decision she makes because my appoarch is certainly not “superior” to her approach. We play for different reasons and that is fine.

Maniacs have been sitting at tables forever. I think online players have either forgotten this or don’t have enough live experience to realize this. Play in Casino and guys and gals like this can be very common. You see all kinds of characters and lot of them are fun and some are annoying but it seems like one thing almost every one of them has in common. They donate a lot of money to more conservative players.

Hope to see you tonight on UB. Good luck man.

1. Some other guy made the same mistake I did. See above. When you are at a new site its sometimes confusing.

[/ QUOTE ]

yeah, there wasn't really a clear distinction between play and real money games, and there were only two games going at the time. one was a $25 NL game with 2 people sitting and the other was a crazy looking $200 NL game...which turned out to be play money (which actually made me thankful).

I don't really think its Poo Mountain, but there are no cash games and I thinks that's Poo.

[/ QUOTE ]

Actually, Poker Mountain does have cash games, just not very many players at them. I've been playing some .5/1 and 1/2 there from time to time (doing reasonably well, too).

Yes, dude. For the third time, now. I am BrownThumb on UB. YOu need some P.O.T. to help you read.

What was I supposed to post about? That I smoke P.O.T. and lose everytime?

[/ QUOTE ]

This guy is freakin hysterical. Funniest thread I've read in a while. If he's this funny at the tables it's worth playing against him just for entertainment value.

For someone who is as high as I think you are right now you are a really good typer (typist?).

Seriously, decent grammar, punctuation, paragraphs, etc.
I'm pretty impressed.

This is some funny s---. If we could just get sup bro to come in here and muscle this dude, life would be complete. I suspect that BrownThumb did not have 15 tackles for loss in 1995.

Sup bro?

Since it alters your mental state I just thought it was a natural assumption that for some it would be more difficult.

(at the risk of drawing brown thumb's wrath) I don't smoke P.O.T. so I have no direct experience.

I know that my typing sucks after I have a couple of drinks...although I also know that comparing the two is incorrect.
