once you fall in love, or have a kid or something, it all changes and you dont want to die.

[/ QUOTE ]

This isn't true for a lot of people, including me. In fact, one could argue it would be easier to go if you've had a lot of love and good experiences with your offspring.

Regardless of all that, I've always had a strong fear of death.

Enjoy life, its all about $ and women.

I don't think this is true, especially the money part.
But everyone can have their own opinion on what life is about.

listening to M2M The Day You Went Away inspired this post.

[/ QUOTE ] I don't know the song, but I know a girl who knew one of the girls in that band.

They suck so much.

[/ QUOTE ]

i thought it was a general consensus in norway that this is the greatest norway band ever.

download the song, it is amazing....

"for me theres only you. been crying since the day, the day you went away"

You were always a cutie mr. Kane

Have you heard the new songs from one of them girls? She's gone solo, calls herself raven. It sucks too, but no nearly as much as the M2M-stuff. She's pretty though.

A guy says he does not want to die and people try to help him view dieing as not so bad. I think we all know it is going to be bad. The important part, which you have made clear to me, is how important it is to learn how to deal with anxiety.

But I would love to hear more about the "how". As with no God to give our problems to we have to be more creative. I'm agnostic so even though I don't discount the possibility of a God I find it highly unlikely till new information is introduced.

Although my anxiety concerning my death is low enough I feel it does not affect me negatively. The death of loved ones is very much harder to cope with. So any insights would be helpful for me.

This is a bit heavy for oot someone post some t&a so we can snap out of it and remember the meaning of life.

I'd reccomend you make a horcrux (or six). That should do the job.

[/ QUOTE ]
This is clearly the correct answer, worked for he-who-must-not-be-named.(well, so far)

If you don't mind your eyes getting all blood-red and slitted like a snakes. Might be harder to pick up chicks that way.

i hate the idea of dying. i don't ever want to die either. i just thought it was interesting how you say the death of loved ones is much harder to cope with. i think that is a huge part of my fear of dying. i would not want my loved ones to go through the pain of losing me, because i'm like the coolest person i know!
