Default Rivered straight, monotone flop... standard?

BB is 47/2/1 after ~150 hands, with a WSD% of 34. SB is 57/4/1 over 135 hands, with WSD% of 32. Yeah, this was a GOOD table. Comments on all streets appreciated, but my flop raise and turn call are the two specifics I'd like to focus on. I suppose I'd be interested in seeing whether anyone raise/calls the river too.

Party Poker 3/6 Hold'em (10 handed) converter

Preflop: Hero is CO with K[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], J[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img].

Flop: (8 SB) 9[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], 4[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], Q[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (4 players)
SB checks, BB bets, MP2 folds, Hero raises, SB calls, BB calls.

Tried to raise here to buy a free card at the turn...

Turn: (7 BB) 4[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (3 players)
SB checks, BB bets, Hero calls, SB calls.

Didn't work. Shucks...

River: (10 BB) T[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (3 players)
SB checks, BB bets, Hero calls, SB calls.

Good card for me, but with the monotone flop and BB's stop'n'go on me at the turn, I'm reluctant to raise here. Plus, I gather SB is going to donk-overcall with a HUGE range of hands, so I can get an extra bet from him by just calling myself.

Final Pot: 13 BB

One overcard on a monotone flop with a gutshot, I don't get it.

Uh, and the second-nut flush draw. The whole thing looks fine to me.

I think going for the overcall here is the right play, unless SB sucks enough to call two cold. Had it been heads up, I think you should raise though. His stop-and-go doesn't mean made flush. I think he would've checkraised the made flush.

I like it. The flop raise is good. The turn call is good. Even if you discount your outs to the 2NFD by a half you still got the pot odds to see the river. I don't really tend to read the Stop and Go as super strength with these kind of people. Based on the initial reads it's obvious they don't really know what they're doing and trying to connect that kind of play to reading their hand is difficult. I call the river too.

The stop'n'go doesn't mean flush, it could be him trying to protect his pair, when he feels you raised with the Ad or Kd to get a free card. I'd be wary about raising the river, but I think it was played fine.

100% agreed. Calling a 3-bet, yes?

That was my read exactly. Certainly many thinking players might do this if they got a sense of what my flop raise was all about... though this particular opponent probably wasn't doing a whole lot of thinking given his stats. I don't think raising the turn is even remotely an option, since I don't think I drop SB out if he has any piece, and I'm not folding BB if he has a pair OR a draw. And on the river, these guys have WSD%s that *scream* "bluff raises are wasted on me!!" (not that I'm necessarily bluffing, since I caught the ten, but if I had whiffed...)
