Anyone going to play in Blackhawk, CO this weekend?

I'm thinking about going up and playing at the Lodge or Mountain High this weekend. Are any other 2+2er's going to be up there on Saturday? I'll probably be playing 2-5 since it plays like 5-5 anyways. Should be fun.

I was thinking about going up, but I think I used up all my Black Hawk time the last two weekends. I'd recommend skipping The Lodge and just going to Mountain High or to The Gilpin for tournaments. I really like The Gilpin's room - it's by far the nicest room in Black Hawk, but the action isn't nearly as good there as it is at Mountain High.

I think i may be at Mountain High this weekend. I would suggest staying away from the Lodge because they rake more than everybody else on the weekend...$7 including the bonus is ridiculous!!!

Well, it looks like the warden is having girls' night out on Saturday, which gives me bonus Black Hawk time. I'm trying to decide when I want to go up. I've grown a bit disillusioned with the 2-5, so I'm trying to figure out whether I want to hit The Gilpin's Hoppin' 44 Tournament on Saturday or on Sunday. Chances are I'll go on Sunday and then play for a while at Mountain High after I bust out. Let's see... tournament starts at 3:00, so I should be there around 3:30ish.

What's the tourny at th Gilpin like and what's the buy in? I've kinda gotten away from tournaments but my friend that's coming with me is a nOOb and only plays tournaments. I hope to be at Mountain High by 11am. I'll be wearing a blue hat witha red A on it and a red shirt. If anyone sees me give me a sup bro.

The Hoppin 44 tournament at The Gilpin 3pm (Saturday and Sunday) is capped at 44 people, 11 per table at 4 tables. You play down to 2 people at each table. Then, the 8 players left combine to make the final table. Places 5-8 pay $100 and I don't remember how much 1-4 get. It's $40+8.

The 7pm tournament is $60+10 and is a normal tournament, capped at 44 people on Saturday and 66 people on Sunday.
