I think it's a valid stance to take. [/ QUOTE ] I think it's ridiculous and basically indefensible. Prior to Saturday, there was no valid reason to rank OSU ahead of ND. Now there is. But the difference is that prior to Saturday, it wasn't close and now it is. The polls basically should reflect the achievements and abilities of the teams as if the season ended on the day of the vote, not based on what is prognosticated.
