without reads you're probably behind TP better kicker, 2pr or maybe even a set.

doesn't seem like a bad fold.

without reads and he's only got 29$ left behind? i think you can call then slow down. (unless you do have reads...post em here)

I'm not going broke with QJo. Fold (75% time) or call (25% time)and fold to anything near pot sized if unimproved on the turn or river.

I like the fold, wish I could make them more often in exactly situations like this one.

Its probably ok... you are probably up against another queen... and J kicker isnt all its cracked up to be. I'd look for KQ to turn over.

That being said, without reads, the guy could easily have had QT...

Frankly, I'd much rather have the J paired than the Q. At this level guys will play top pair til they die.

if it were me, at this point, if hero calls, ~12$ pot. check call his 2$ bet on turn. i'm saying 2$ because these guys at 50nl on UB (where i exclusively play) is the average bet even if they made a set on the flop. it's real cheap to see a river, then they go beserk and pot river. if river is potted let it go, otherwise c/c.

Should've added in the original post that no read on villain.

From my limited experience of about 15k hands I'd say I'll see villain holding KQ a vast majority of the time here. Maybe that's just thinking too pessimistically.

I think it was a very disiplined fold. There are literally no draws. The only thing I can imagine him raising you with that you can beat is QT. Highly unlikely. Sometimes in this situation I will raise with say a pair of 6s to see if Im good, but thats with 2 or 3 max to the flop, not here. Definately not here.

I think thats the desision thats best long term in this spot.
