Default Holiday Inn AC boardwalk

Alright the Borgota is out of rooms w/ the poker rate for the 17th of this month. Never played at the trop (borgota x12) but heard it's a close second to the borgota. They want 220$ for the 17th so thats out also. The Holiady Inn is about $90 (much better). It's listed as right next to the trop.....? Is this my best option? I want to be very close to the poker room.

Holiday Inn is fine. Best of the non-casino hotels on the Boardwalk. It is a 3 minute walk to the Trop.

The Sheraton near the convention center is nicer but you'll need to take a taxi a nite. They have a limo that goes to Caesars (both Starwood properties).

All the other non-casino hotels are scuzzy. Check out http://www.tripadviser.com

Call the trop and ask for the poker rate.. it is usually about $50 or so on a sunday night and they will usually give you the poker rate even if you have never played there before if you are staying on a non-weekend nite as long as you play 6 hours or so. But if that doesn't work out the holiday inn is literally less than a 2 minute walk from the poker room at the trop.
