How many bets would you go?

I was watching a game on a no cap HU 1/2 limit (I think it was interpoker) a cpl days ago and this stuck with me.

With a board of
(not in order, i dont remember the order)
T [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] T [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] J [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] A [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 2 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]

how many bets would you go with T [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] T [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] ?

It went to about 7 bets before AA called...if your holding TT and it gets taken to 14 or 15 bets or something crazy against a non-maniac decent player, when can you call in fear of the royal flush?

Not getting all your money in with quads is -EV!!!

Compare how many times he as the nut flush and is retarded or when he has aces full, or kings full, to the amount of times he has a royal (650,000-1).

I'd go all-in on quads everytime, if it was possible in limit. With these rules, it is, so push it as hard as you can. If he has a royal, more power to him.

so its no longer open ended str flush?

Based on natural human tendency, I don't think anything could convince me (or any of you) to lay down quads in fear of a straight / royal flush.

However, my friend did move all-in once with a boat on the flop(JdJh hole, Js As Ac) and lost to a player who held AhQs to a runner-runner straight flush. I guess that's poker for ya.

It really depends on the previous action. If I don't read him as drawing, I'm going to the felt.

Against the standard opponent on interpoker, I would go to the felt with both AA and TT there if I had started with their standard 20 BB stack. I have seen many people play trips and even bottom pair the same way.
Against somebody reasonable, it depends too much on the prior action as well as how reasonable they are.

or 1 time in 3.. you were only a few orders of magnitude off.

losing your whole bankroll with the second nuts is -EV.
