Default Stars $15+1: Obligatory to bet here?

Getting no cards - just lots of sticky situations!

HOLD'EM NO LIMIT - LEVEL V (75/150)

Seat #9 is the button
Seat 1: coach50 (3610 in chips)
Seat 4: Galilee (790 in chips)
Seat 6: Vlad1855 (4335 in chips)
Seat 9: ninja73 (4765 in chips)

coach50: posts small blind 75
Galilee: posts big blind 150

Dealt to Galilee [4s 3c]

Vlad1855: folds
ninja73: folds
coach50: calls 75
Galilee: checks

FLOP 8s Ah 6h
POT 300

coach50: checks
Galilee: bets 640 and is all-in

Would it have been better to try this with at least overcards?

I don't think I'm so desperate to have to push pre-flop yet ... and I could leave this one alone and push with my 640 on another hand. And there's always an outdside chance that another player will bust first of course.

It seems like a bet would take this pot. Is it worth going after pots like this on the bubble?

I wouldn't do this.

Thanks for the short (but to the point) replies! Was it really so obvious?

Thinking about it, I guess I'm pushing here then because a) his limp was weak, and b) even if he calls I get a fairly decent chance to double up with, hopefully, 2 live cards.

He had 62 by the way, called and bust me - argh.
