Re: How do you carry your BR from casino to casino when visiting LV?.
This shouldn't be an issue.
Room safe to valet/taxi stand to other casino to poker room. There is almost no chance for someone to screw with you here. I've carried over $10k on numerous occassions in Vegas with even less protection than this (Going to self-park at Wynn, strip club, walking down the strip, etc) and never had a problem. Guess it could happen though. |

Re: How do you carry your BR from casino to casino when visiting LV?.
Having taught self defense for many years, let me give you some basic tips...
First and formost, dont look like a target. This means do not show your money. If you are going to have get money out to tip/pay for something you should have a completely seperate stash. The only place you should be pulling you roll out is at the cage and even then in a manner as to not let as many people as possible not see it. Walk with your head held high, be confident. The people that are going to take your money do not want to risk more than they have to, and if you look like you are going to cause a problem, that is a problem for them and more times than not they are going to look for a problem free victim to rob. Pay attention to your suroundings! So many people are completely unaware of what/who is around them. One of the things that will give you an adavntage is take a random walk around the casino if you think someone if hanging around/watching you. If you see the same people/person where ever you go, find security and ask for a escort from them. When you are outside, walk in the open, do not walk next to cars, close to walls and other things that people could be hiding by/near. Stay in populated areas, if you can't get the escort. If you are going to be moving from room to room call ahead and see if they will take the other rooms chips. If they do, convert your roll to chips. They are easier to carry and hide on yourself. Two or three $5K chips are a lot smaller than a roll 100's. And if you ever do find yourself face to face with a robber think long and hard before you decide you are going to fight back. Even if you are the meanest, badest mo fo that walked the face of earth, it only takes one lucky shot and your are dead or worse. |

Naw, forget it. Nothing ever gets stolen in Vegas.
Call your Insurance Agent and ask. I think MetLife stores all their reserve funds in a hotel room safe. It is much safer than a bank vault, and besides, sometimes banks get robbed. The biggest problem with hotel room safes is if a guest checks out and leaves the hotel room safe locked. Since there is no way, or no one at the hotel that can open the safe, they have to call the safe maker and have him come and replace the entire unit. |

My wife locked some stuff in the safe. She thought that the numbers that came up when she locked it was the "Pick 4". Just call the front desk. They will send a technician and a security guard. The tech plugs in an electronic device. Pushes a few button and Voila.

That device will only work when the tourist in the room.
Wait, only a member of a secret splinter group of the Masons actually knows how to work it. No, uhhh, there is only one of those devices. The hotels share the only copy (they burned the blueprints after it was made). When the device is not in use, it is kept in a secret vault 90 feet beneath street level underneath the old Binion's, right next to an unknown stash of Jack's silver. |
