Default What books

I have been playing $10 NLHE sng on Party. I have read Phil Hellmuth's book and also read Hold Em Poker For Advanced Players(not that I would consider myself advanced.) Any suggestions for what I should read next and in any paticular order. I plan on reading HEPAP again in about two months.

Much reading you must do my friend. and more than that, STUDYING must accompany the reading. in addition, a playbook is another virtual necessity (meaning a book in which you record hands played during a session so as to improve their play in similar situations in the future).

books:
1)HE poker.
2)Inside the poker mind (John Feeney)
3)gambling theory and other topics
4)sklansky on razz (or whatever its called- its a fantastic poker book with a razz section in back)
5)all "Poker essays" by mason malmuth

theres more but thats all i can think of immediately without researching and its a good place to start.

good luck.

I have found Sklansky's Theory of Poker to be very helpful in deepening my understanding of the game.

LOL. DUH! just didn't think of it off the top of my head. that one is CRUCIAL and a must read over and above almost all others but is best in conjunction with all of 'em.

I would suggest Winning Low Limit Hold Em as well. I have found it very useful when playing the lower limit games and SnGs.

In addition to that, I think Theory of Poker is a 100% must study, as has been mentioned earlier.. just reiterating the point.

I guess this is obvious but HPFAP is limit poker and you said you are playing NL. Are you planning to switch to limit?
