Default Hero = Weak, Oh my!

Hello, this is my first post on the twoplustwo forums. Anyways, on to the subject, I quite simply find myself not betting or raising near enough. In fact I commonly have to call myself names to put in a raise or bet. My aggression factor was once high fives and has been slowly dropping this last month. Let me give out an example:

Party Poker 2/4 Hold'em (9 handed) converter

Preflop: Hero is Button with A[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], 6[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img].
6 folds, Hero raises, SB calls, 1 fold.

Flop: (5 SB) A[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], 8[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], 2[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (2 players)
SB checks, Hero bets, SB calls.

Turn: (3.50 BB) 9[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (2 players)
SB bets, Hero calls.

River: (5.50 BB) 5[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (2 players)
SB bets, Hero calls.

Final Pot: 7.50 BB

So feel free to call me names as you wish, the worse the names are the better chance I will muscle up in the future.

On a side note, I own PokerOffice, would it be a worthwhile investment for me to purchase PokerTracker instead?

Does this mean you think you should have raised the turn?

I can't see any other line here. AF of 5 seems way high so maybe you're fine. My guess is SB isn't giving you credit for an A and spiked a 9, but a raise does nothing for you.

This is the best line to take. Usually when the guy calls your flop bet and leads the turn, they either have you crushed or they have absolutely nothing. The turn bet by SB is knows as a "gaybet". Calling down wins you the most when you're ahead, and loses the least when behind.

Yeah I felt I should of raised the turn, if you all are fine with how I played it I guess it is not to bad. Everyone else agree with my spitting out another $65 for PokerTracker? I like it because it archives the full hand history for you, but I didn't like the fact of being so stupid I had to buy two poker tracking softwares.

I don't mind the line against an aggressive player. SB might think he can pick up the pot with a semibluff flush draw, or be betting hands like K9 that are reasonable blinds defending hands.

It could also look like he's slow playing a set of twos... check call and the bet the turn. That's his bluff I assume...

Standard play. Nothing wrong here.
