Am I ahead often enough here to justify betting? Villian could likely be calling down with AJs+, KK, and QQ. What hands does he call with that I beat?

I can really only see you beating 77 and 88 here, so the river check is the right move. You can definitely make a capping pf argument, but otherwise I think you played the hand perfectly.

I cap it preflop, otherwise I play it the same. I don't think there's much difference between capping and not, I just like putting them on the defensive on the flop so they don't screw around with me.
