Aren't the "Splats," "Awarded" by an OOT Mod?

I already responded to this in the other thread the OP created in "About the Forums."

Here is a copy of my response:

"Hi,

One reason your thread is locked is because it has nothing to do with "Poker Beats, Brags, and Variance." Also, starting a thread just to post a short PM that is merely a criticism of the way you conduct yourself on the forums probably isn't the kind of content most moderators are going to want in any forum on 2+2.

I thought the reasons for the lock were fairly obvious, but in the future explanations will always be given if I lock posts in that forum.

Note: Friday was my first day as mod of BBV."

I didn't lock the first one, but you shouldn't take that to mean I disagree with it being locked.

BTW, I wasn't trying to make an example out of anyone. If I wanted to make some noise and set examples, I would have done so this past weekend.
