Default interesting QQ hand

reads- villain is pretty loose nothing crazy. he hasn't shown down any rags in raised pots, but he has shown one pair in a couple big pots. he doesnt seem very good, but ive only played like 80 hands with him.

50nl 6max
effective stack ~50
hero is dealt Q [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]Q [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] in the BB

pre flop- MP limps, CO raises to 2, folds to hero who raises to 7, only CO calls.

flop (14.75)-8 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]6 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]2 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]
hero bets 13, villain calls.

turn (40.75)-A [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]
hero...

ive only got 30 left, and i have the second nut flush draw. im lost here. i think villains range is like any set, pps 55-JJ, AK and AQ maybe.

This is a tough spot. Nearly any bet (even 1/2 pot) commits you. What hands will villan call your flop bet with? I think a PP, or maybe a [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] draw. I really don't know what to do- either bet/call any raise or c/f. c/f-ing seems weak, but maybe reasonable here.

Well, that ace very likely did not help him and it makes the flush unlikely. I push, hoping to fold out K K no heart and maybe get a call from Jh Jx.

How about a small bet inviting a bluff raise. If you're going to bet 15 and call a push, why not give him a chance to bluff. You may be afraid of the Kh, but this is another option to consider.

these two hands make up an extremely small percentage of villains range here... making a play because it's +EV against those two isn't good.

A push here only folds hands you want in, and only gets called by hands you dont want to see. I'm c/c a smallish bet here, c/f to a push.

Extremely small percentage? What, like 2%? I'd say KK-TT are villians absolutely 3 most likely holdings.
What else do you put him on?

from OPs description of him, at 0.25/0.50 6-max, i think the hand range he gave looks pretty good... 55-JJ, AQ/AK. Even against KK-1010 i don't think pushing is the best action.

Push. His call of your flop committed you to this one. Terrible turn, but checking says you are giving up on the hand and you do not have a big enough stack to try a check raise (which shoul dfold everything except the flush), so I think you have to push.

Gotta push here man, too committed. It's not so bad anyway, you still got a lot of his hands beat.
