Default Hurt (AKs in the sb)

Party Poker 10/20 Hold'em (6 max, 6 handed) converter

Preflop: Hero is BB with A[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], K[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img].
UTG raises, 3 folds, SB calls, Hero 3-bets, UTG caps, SB calls, Hero calls.

Flop: (12 SB) 2[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], 6[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], 5[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (3 players)
SB checks, Hero checks, UTG bets, SB calls, Hero raises, UTG calls, SB calls.

Turn: (9 BB) 2[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (3 players)
SB checks, Hero bets, UTG calls, SB calls.

River: (12 BB) J[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (3 players)
SB checks, Hero bets, UTG raises, SB calls, Hero 3-bets, UTG caps, SB calls $3 (All-In), Hero calls.

Final Pot: 22.15 BB

sb is a superdonk.

i'm 99% sure utg is a 2+2er and judging my his name, a self proclaimed methamphetamine user. stats are like 20/16 on him, no notes which means he's probably a pretty solid player.

how many hands can i put him on on the river that i beat? should i be 3betting there ? given that he has JJ how do you like his play here ?

Well, it seems we can narrow UTGs hand range down quite a bit since we are that confident in our read.

Preflop cap in a non-blind steal situation vs a non-LAG player probably means JJ-AA, AKs, AKo, and maybe AQs. It is very strange that he doesn't put an extra raise in there somewhere with an overpair but AK and AK of hearts are not possible so really JJ is the only thing he can have here unless he's drunk.

If he did have JJ which he probably did, I don't like the way he played it. Gotta put in another raise somewhere.

I agree but only if he can fold to a 3-bet with confidence.

do you like my flop c/r ?

do you want me to c/r the flop and then check call the turn ?

how do you play the hand if you're me postflop, and how do you play it postflop if i'm against you and you're him. my stats are somewhere around 25/20 unfiltered and i suffer from fps occasionally.

if i'm him i think i 3bet this flop to find out if i have 99 TT or AA-QQ. given that i would cap the flop, i guess i call down and hope that i have AKs AQs or KQs

btw, i think my river 3 bet sucks.

I dunno if I'm that aggressive.. I wouldn't normally check/raise this, but your line is prolly good, can anyone explain why a check/raise here is good? Were I to c/r, I definitly play the rest of the hand the same, but normaly its just call, call, check/raise and cap.

EDIT: Oops, this is a 10/20 hand, I'm just a 3/6er..
