Dead stack miracle

I was playing a 10+1 the other day, 5 handed, 1 guy with a tiny stack, 1 big stack, 3 guys in the middle. I was the biggest of the middle guys, around 2200 chips with 50/100 blinds.

My power goes out. For 3 hours. I come back, incensed at my poor luck, to discover that I finished SECOND. SECOND.

Curtains just posted about overaggression near the bubble, apparently I could do to tighten up a great deal.
