Default Playing against random cards

My opponent in this hand plays every single hand. The only time he'll ever fold 3rd street is if its 2 bets to him. He'll call right up to 5th street and acll 5th if he has any pair or any draw.

I hated calling 5th street in this hand, but i figured given the fact that I am facing 2 random cards I should call. I guess this is more a question of hand equity against 2 random cards then anything else.

On 5th street it's not a question of equity against random cards. Once he bets 5th,you can no longer put him on 2 random cards.

I think most villains may bet fifth with any two cards once hero has checked - it may well get a fold especially if hero had caught a worse card than the J.

Why not?

I am betting when checked to here pretty frequently.

Well, is his tendency to bet when checked to, or will he take the free card?

I wouldn't call fifth when has has a 3flush and his cards are live, I give up there.

The hand looks like it should be over on 5th.

If your opponent plays every single hand, maybe you shouldn't try to steal on 3rd. You're not much of a favorite over 2 random cards, because 2 random cards may include a pair for him. You're at best a 64-36 favorite, if all his cards are below T, not 3 cards of a straight, and he isn't double suited. If you know you have 0 folding equity (since he never folds before 5th), then I don't like the completion. Just call if you want to play the hand. Just wait till 5th to evaluate whether you think you have an advantage.

I think 5th is a fold.
