Maybe I'm weak tight, but I fold preflop, or after the flop bet, or after the turn bet.

You have no hand and even though youre drawing to a big hand, it isnt that big with only a 7 high flush draw.

i might lead the turn there for 240.

but if i checked, i would fold for the 240 bet.

you can fold preflop if you are going to play a flushdraw that slow.

I think a big check raise on the turn represents 2 pair, and against a pretty solid opponent will get him to fold top pair a good % of the time. Thoughts?

I think it's OK (after the flop) to play it the way you did. If you call the turn and a river heart comes, he probably won't call a very big bet, so you're not getting very big implied odds here. You could try to get tricky, but if villian actually has a hand it just costs you more.

If you want to try to hit your river flush, maybe make a lead, blocking bet of 180 which gives you about 3.5-1 pot odds (still less than the 4-1 you need to hit your NOT a nut flush), and which had he bet 180, you might call. If he raises, you're gone.

I think he was protecting a made hand and is unlikely to fold to anything but a check-raise on the turn. I think you're in trouble here and should cut your losses.

Of course...my name is Chuck and I am Weak/Tight (but play a LOT of PL).
