You're just now getting back into SNGs? I thought I saw you at the $215s right after the split.

I may have played like 5-10 total after the split.... started focusing solely on SNGs last 10 days.

I just played around 50 of them today, anyone who says they are even remotely tough is delusional.

And last month we had 3-4 people (all running bad) talking about how hard the 215s had gotten. Not much has changed, if you're running good and winning flips/getting hands/sucking out, you're going to think they're easier. If you're running bad, losing flips/getting shat for hands/getting sucked out, you're going to think they're harder. There's still lots of 8+ tablers diluting the "donk pool," if you're lucky enough to be playing when it's just donks, don't be fooled.

Play 5,000 of them, and then make an assessment one way or the other about how much more/less they're beatable than before. The looser calling of pushes while good in some respects, can also make life much more difficult for the big stack/or when you're FE is about to be lost and you need to push crap to steal. It probably jacks up overall variance (having to win more showdowns, similar to an LAG-infested LHE game vs. one where you can steal a lot of small pots).

I'm just now beginning to realize how significant this is. Especially during off peak hours the number of 8 tablers greatly influences the difficulty of the $215s. Once in a while I'll have a night where by coincidence there will only be a couple of 8 tablers playing and I have the fish mostly to myself. Other nights table selection is pointless because there are at least 3 extreemly good SNG players at each table.
