I wonder if some people are mis-reading this poll. For example, what are we WB in #9? [/ QUOTE ] Why, the A[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] and the A, of course. |

Re: Am I WA/WB here (poll)?
I'm not sure what the second A you listed was, it just looks like an X in my browser. Anyway I'm thinking you're kidding right?

I think in the majority of cases we're not WA/WB. Do you really think #9 is WA/WB? What are we behind to? [/ QUOTE ] sweet page 2. i think #5 (and clearly #9) are the most obvious ones to not be "WA/WB". also: when is the wa/wb LINE (c/c c/c b-) useful in OOP situations where those conditions do not apply, if ever? this i don't know. for example: in hand 5 if villian is aggressive - might is be right to let him bet the flop and then checkraise the turn? |

I wonder if some people are mis-reading this poll. For example, what are we WB in #9? [/ QUOTE ] I think this does show something that I wanted to make a note about. I think some people sometimes forget about the 50/50 portion and think of it as a WA/WB situation when it's clear they're only WA. The same with WB (see Hand #1) |

Re: Am I WA/WB here (poll)?
I agree that many times, if we're behind we're way behind and when ahead, we're way ahead.
However the likely hood of both needs to be nearly equal, and in most of the cases you've listed, villian is not 'approximately' holding either 50% of the time. |

I voted yes to 3 and 4. I wouldn't tend to use a WA/WB line with 3 unless I had AJ or lower though.
Since when does WA/WB have to be OOP? |

Re: Am I WA/WB here (poll)?
Questions 2 and 3 are WA/WB. 6 & 7 are debatable as an unknown CO's 3-betting range (Q6) includes hands like KQ which flopped a gutshot and have king outs. In Q7 since the villian is loose we can't rule out QJ from his range and thus charging draws becomes important. The rest are not WA/WB situations.
