What I Should Work On?
After picking up Small Stakes HE, I began to think about parts of the game that I needed to improve on. I thought I could start a thread where people could really begin to think about and write out what parts of their game they would like to improve on. I'll start.
- I need to really focus on every bet that I put in. When 4 tabling, it's easy to become numb and call a turn bet when you're not supposed to or decide that you're calling down regardless out of frustration. I think if I really start to focus on not doing this, I can save myself 2 to 4 big bets per session. - Something I've been working on (and I think we all are) is becoming completely emotionless while you play. Not in the sense that you get lazy and unattached from what you're doing. Just having the ability to play my A game regardless of results will improve my winrate a significant amount. - Ah, one more thing. Put in some damn hours! Okay all, let's hear it. |

Re: What I Should Work On?
Where to begin?
-Gotta learn how to fold a good hand when I know I'm beat. -Gotta play fewer starting hands. -Gotta be more aggressive with the hands I play. -Gotta try to understand that I will pay my dues, no matter how much I think I know. Damn. More gottas then I'd prefer. |
