Default 1/2, TPNK, need a plan

Party Poker 1/2 Hold'em (6 max, 5 handed) FTR converter on zerodivide.cx

Preflop: Hero is SB with A[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], 7[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img].
UTG calls, 1 fold, Button calls, Hero completes, BB checks.

Flop: (4 SB) 2[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], K[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (4 players)
Hero checks, BB bets, UTG calls, Button calls, Hero calls.

Turn: (4 BB) Q[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (4 players)
Hero bets, BB calls, UTG folds, Button calls.

River: (7 BB) J[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (3 players)
Hero checks, BB checks, Button bets, Hero folds, BB calls.

Final Pot: 9 BB

I was calling a bet from the BB, including an overcall (i think), and folding to action from the button. That's not what I'm worried about though. What should my general gameplan be on the flop?

betting the flop is my default, but if I don't do that then I usually C/R it.

a funny thing happens when you check the flop 4-way with a pair of aces... it ends up being bluffed at by one of the last two guys, checked through, or bet by another pair of aces. if you know you have some auto-bettors in there, a check raise is fine in my opinion.

however, you gave no reads. without reads, you should just bet the flop. people will call with gutshots, pocket pairs, 2s, Ks, backdoor flush draws, etc, but they won't bet with these hands. sooooooooooooooooooo value bet.

I think the problem with this hand started when you didn't bet the flop. Easier decisions to follow after you do this.
