Default 109s in the BB, great flop, everything downhill from there

This hand was like a bad first date. Things were good in the beginning, but I was shut down like nothing else at the end. To the hand.

Party Poker 2/4 8 Handed.

I'm in the BB with 10 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]9 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]

UTG folds, all call to button (4 players), Button folds, SB completes, I check.

Flop: 3 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]4 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]9 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]

SB checks, I bet, all call to the CO, who raises. SB calls 2 cold, I reraise, UTG +1 calls, all fold to CO who calls, as does the SB.

Turn (4 players):6 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]

SB checks, I bet, all call.

River: 7 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]

SB checks, I check, UTG+1 bets, CO raises, SB folds, I fold, UTG+1 bets.

How did I do?

I do not like your river check.

I thought that at first too. But I think with 4 to a straight on board and still 3 people in the hand. He can dump to a raise, and there is also a very strong possibility that he is behind to a better 9, which will also check out of fear. I don't think a bet gets him too many calls from worse hands here, and the check could save him a bet.

They both had a straight for a split. One had turned it, but fortunately waited for the river to raise. The 7 was one of the worst cards for me to see, but anything other than a club or a 10 would have made my hand a shaky holding. I'm still really undecided about my river check though. Thanks for the imput.
