Playing a set on a monotone flop, 200NL
Third hand at the table. No reads. Is this standard or are there alternative lines I could use?
Party Poker No-Limit Hold'em, $ BB (6 max, 6 handed) converter saw flop|saw showdown SB ($160.05) BB ($155.30) Hero ($209.95) MP ($64.13) CO ($205.05) Button ($336.39) Preflop: Hero is UTG with Q[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], Q[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]. Re: Playing a set on a monotone flop, 200NL
Looks fine.
I'll occasionally just call to try to fade a heart on the turn and then c/r all in. |

Re: Playing a set on a monotone flop, 200NL
I admit that this is was a very boring hand with little depth, but since I already created this thread I might post another one:
Villain is 41/10 and fairly passive. Party Poker No-Limit Hold'em, $ BB (6 max, 6 handed) converter saw flop|saw showdown CO ($197.65) Button ($77.91) Hero ($272.05) BB ($232.40) UTG ($386.20) MP ($405.21) Preflop: Hero is SB with Q[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], Q[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]. Hero posts a blind of $1. 2 folds, CO raises to $8, 1 fold, Hero (poster) calls $7, 1 fold. Flop: ($18) 2[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], K[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], 8[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (2 players) Hero checks, CO bets $10, Hero calls $10. Turn: ($38) 5[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (2 players) Hero bets $20, CO calls $20. River: ($78) J[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (2 players) Hero checks, CO bets $25, Hero folds. Final Pot: $103 Again, does this look like standard? I sometimes re-raise pre-flop and sometimes I don't. |

[ QUOTE ]
Preflop: Hero is SB with Q[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], Q[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]. Hero posts a blind of $1. 2 folds, CO raises to $8, 1 fold, Hero (poster) calls $7, 1 fold. ... I sometimes re-raise pre-flop and sometimes I don't. [/ QUOTE ] is this standard? I can't imagine not re-raising in that spot I usually play limit so I could obviously be way off here. |
