Paul obviously is very intelligent and from what little I know of him probably has an excellent work ethic. I would not categorise his business or poker success as attributable only to luck. My problem with Paul, is that he excoriates people for acting like arrogant asses, while at the same time acting like an arrogant ass himself. For instance I can think of at least two instances on what little televised poker I have watched, where Paul has came off as a bigger ass than either Helmuth or Druff. Yet, paul will explain these things away... where he will not grant that same luxury to others.

There are a lot of people who appear on Poker telecasts who are intelligent and have excellent work ethics...Paul Phillips is famous primarily because he is an internet millionaire...disagree?

I would say he is famous for that, but rich for his business endeavours.

Oh let me clarify then.There are lots of people who appear on poker telecasts and do fairly well but aren't nearly as famous as Paul Phillips...the reason we remember him from these telecasts is because of his internet millions. That's my opinion anyway.
