Default Final Table Hand at a PokerStars WSOP FPP Qualifier

I hadn't seen anything in a while, obviously I'm low on chips, and this looked like a really good opportunity to triple up. First place is the only thing that matters, it's a WSOP seat. I think I made the right move, but I don't play many tournaments (mostly a cash player) and wanted opinions from you Grand Masters.

Reads:
Villain #2's min raise UTG isn't as suspicious as it might be for most players; he hadn't been doing that with his big hands at all. I had been playing with him for a while, had always been raising at least 3x the blinds with any good holding. 2x made me think he had either a small pair or two decent big cards.

Villain #1
Loose Agressive player that was lucky to be there, had been very fortunate with flops. Might be on tilt because he had just lost a BIG (200k) pot a hand or two before. I figured him for a wide, wide, range of hands due to his mental state and overly aggressive nature.

So I've got 8s8h and only 5-6x the BB. I know Villain 2 is probably going to call - I know I've got him beat, but he's got the right odds to call with almost anything. Due to the fact that I believe I have the best hand, and am probably up against 4 overcards or 2 overcards and a smaller pair, pushing (calling Villain #1, actually) is the right move? I figured I was a getting my money in a good position to triple up, even though I might only be 30-40% to win the hand. Is that correct thinking, or do you hold on and try to find another spot?
