I was asked to be a partner in crime
Somebody at work who claims to be a poker player heard that I play on Party wanted to know if I'd play online with him and we'd IM our hole cards to each other. I declined the offer of course, but if I can get a hold of his Party handle should I report it? Collusion just pisses me off because I'm working hard to be a better player, and cheaters can be so discouraging. Just thought I'd share my experience with you guys.

Re: I was asked to be a partner in crime
Or you might find out how long it takes him to get banned, and report back on Party's collusion detection abilities.
FWIW, a friend of mine tried it and got banned within a day, which is a relief, but he was probably a bad colluder. |

[/ QUOTE ] If Party pays no extra attention to you, you could pull something like this off without getting banned pretty easily. I think you should report him. |

Re: I was asked to be a partner in crime
These two kids in my dorm run the 5$ sngs on PokerRoom! lol...they asked me to join and I said hell no. They actually sit in the same seats everytime also. I tell them its a matter of time before someone catchs on, then my buddy who argues everything tried to tell me he would take action if they closed his account(he was very adamant about this)...needless to say that was good for laughing enough to rip my lung tissue. They dont even win everytime...its really funny.

I'd use a skin account he didn't know about and stalk him online then take all of his money since he is likely a terrible terrible player.

Re: I was asked to be a partner in crime
You are being an asshat about the whole situation. He didn't even collude. Reporting people on conspiring to collude is an errosian of civil liberties. Someone could make an offhand comment about colluding on Party Poker in jest and be accussed of a crime. Next thing you know, society is in a state in which making a critical remark about the president is tantamount to conspiracy.

It is also my hunch that the person at work who asked you if you wanted to do this is likely a bad player.
