Default when to take this pot if at all?

SB is 61/16/1.6 after 37 hands
Button is 46/6/.65 after 35 hands

I didn't know if either of these guys were flop peelers or not, but that was my main worry. Usually guys who see so many flops also like to take one off. Should I have at least bet the turn? On the other hand, they both seem well passive too. Perhaps I can hope to see a SD with my King high.

Party Poker 3/6 Hold'em (6 max, 4 handed) converter

Preflop: Hero is BB with 9[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], K[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img].
1 fold, Button calls, SB completes, Hero checks.

Flop: (3 SB) 6[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], A[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], 5[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (3 players)
SB checks, Hero checks, Button checks.

Turn: (1.50 BB) 2[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (3 players)
SB checks, Hero checks, Button bets, SB folds, Hero folds.

Final Pot: 2.50 BB

If you're going to take a shot at this I agree the turn is the time to do it. If it were rainbow/less connected I'd fire at the flop.

Bet the turn and be surprised how much they fold.

Sincere! I almost always bet here. It's like when the flop is checked to you HU or 3-way.

Okay! against tighter opponents, I'd bet the flop. In this situation, betting the turn is probably best - but I think, because, 1) the players are so loose and 2) passive enough that seeing a SD is somewhat likely -that checking is a close 2'nd.

If anyone wants to crack that whip to tell me to 'always' bet this turn, I'm listening

I think there's a pretty good chance you have the best hand on the turn. This looks like a good place to try to pick up a few chips.

The pot is tiny, why do you want to invest 1 bet to win 1.5? They both would need to fold the best hand more than 40% of the time. I think they're both folding about 20% of the time, that means you would need to have the best hand more than 20% of the time.

Always is a big word, but yes, I nearly always bet the turn against no more than two opponents when no one bet the flop. Especially when I'm second or last to act on the turn. It's immediate positive ev (I've looked through lots of Poker Tracker hands to figure this out) not to mention the times you suck out to win on the river, not to mention the times you had the best hand all along.
