Default Poker Table Suggestions

Does someone have good experience buying a poker table (10-seater)? Links with pictures and prices? Or anyone who wants to custom build one, details please.

I've built 2 of my own and would be willing to build more, but I have little interest in shipping a table to Minnesota.

I saw this earlier today. I don't know this guy, nor do I vouch for his quality.

FWIW, it would cost me about about $200 - $225 in materials to build that table. You'll need to figure out how much you're willing to pay for labor.

Good luck.

You might be able to get FedEx or UPS to pick up at your door. There might be weight restrictions

I just ordered this table on Friday night but it hasn't shipped yet:

I saw it in a local store for a couple hundred dollars more but its good quality and has a nice cushy rail.

I had previously gotten this table-

and I sent it back real fast. I pulled the table out of the box and went to unfold the legs and the screws stripped right out of the bottom of the table. Plus the rail was like plastic more than vinyl with foam and truly felt cheap.

I'll try to post pics once I get the one I ordered.

This link gives you lots of different links to other sites that are selling poker tables. Also,

http://www.scottkeen.com/forum/viewf...4c5e0e9bf6b2f6

is a good forum with lots of people who build poker tables. Maybe you can find someone that lives near you and get a custom table done that way.

I am located near Chicago...according to mapquest, 6 hours from you. I could build you one and work out the details of picking it up. Email me and I will give you more details, including pics of what the table would look like.

1 piece of ply wood, 1 can of spray adhesive, your choice of felt, a 5x10 piece of carpet padding.

you could round the edges of the wood or leave it square if you want to keep it easy.

spray the adhesive on the plywood, lay the padding down on plywood and trim the excess.

spray the adhesive on top of the padding and lay the felt down. you can tuck the excess under and staple it to the bottom. The rails are a little trickier and you can use any kind of table legs. All in all it would cost you around 100 dollars. I know these are not great instructions but should give you an idea, take em and let your creative side come out.

If you want to buy one I bought one from web page I searched and they had the best selection and best price.
