Just because you are in the army doesn't mean you're trained to kill.

Takr it from someone who went through basic training, it definitely means you're not trained to kill, unless you're a grunt.

Brainwashed, yes.
Cold killer, no.

scene 3 starts with our roommate Dan sitting on a large bed, being filmed.

He then quickly pulls down his shors and beats off right there on camera.

He finishes in some toilet paper

Um, how do you even get to the last part?

I call shenannigans.

No shenanigans. You think I could make up a story that good? I actually keep in touch with a guy that was there. That was 1988 and he still brings it up almost every time I talk to him.

I've often wondered what happened to that girl. Probably scarred for life. He killed himself over her. She dropped out of the school right after. I have a pic somewhere I'll try to find. She was pretty cute. Had one of those old-fashioned Doris Day haircuts, but kind of a big ass.

Why? All soldiers have to complete basic training no matter what field they are going into no?

This is one of the most interesting stories/threads I've ever read (provided this is true of course).

yes, they all have to go through basic training, but bootcamp isn't about training someone to kill.

thats unfortunate...but i dont see it as anyones fault...if he was that mentally unsound a number of things could have caused the same result - noone is to "blame" for what happened
