Default smoking in front of electronics

I have 2 nice dell monitors and 2 nice speakers (home studio monitors). If I smoke will it mess them up?

Over the short term it will not, however if you do it continually smoke residue will build up and could possibly degrade performance much in the same way dust can possibly degrade performance (reducing ventilation, aging components faster, etc).

I think the last thing you need to worry about is the health of your computer.......

Before you tell me to stop being so self-righteous, you should now that this is coming from a guy who chainsmokes whilst playing internet poker: No probs with the Dell yet, at least [img]/images/graemlins/wink.gif[/img] *cough* *cough*

the puter and accesories will become outdated before failure from smoke.
