dealt K [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 9 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]

table is playing 7 handed
utg+1 is average loose/passive

utg folds, utg+1 limps, folded to me in mp1, i raise, folded to the blinds who call, limper calls.

flop: 7 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] K [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 8 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] - 4 players - 8 sbs

checked to me, i bet, they all call...

turn: J [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] - 4 players - 6 bbs

check, check, 1st limper wakes up and bets, hero???

This is tough because of your gutter. Without it I think you can raise and fold to a 3-bet, or take the free showdown if given the chance.

Actually, I think I'd raise anyway.

without the gutshot you'd raise and fold to a 3-bet, yeah i guess i can see that pretty easily.

i'm not sure a raise is best in this spot though because of the gutshot.

Well if the bettor is someone who won't bet here without a better hand, then of course raising is out and you should fold.

If not, I think raising is better because you can chase out the other two guys while you still have a chance at having the best hand.

Did you raise just so you could call and chase your gut-shot?
