Default Absolute vs. Party Poker

Since the big Party Poker debacle I withdrew my money and took my business elsewhere.

I deposited at Absolute with a rakeback deal.

Recently, however, Absolute has changed the way their bonuses clear, making them a little more difficult. The games at Absolute are also worse than the ones at Party.

My question to you is this:

Is playing at Absolute with bonuses and rakeback, (but way worse games), more or less profitable than playing at Party with no rakeback or bonuses, (but way better games)?

I'm thinking about going back.

I'm bouncing back and forth. I think I like party better. Absolute software is a head ache for me. Even with a mod. The games are hit and miss there.

As for profitable, I'm not sure. I'm trying not to rely on RB and bonii as much and trying to work more on my pokering.

Absolute=8000 players, Party=50000+, Stars=50000+. Bigger the pond, bigger the fish.

My goal is to play my ass off on Party this month so I can hopefully become a VIP and/or collect some account-specific bonuses. I played quite a bit on Absolute too but now that the bonuses are no longer as good I seriously can't take playing there (esp. as my rakeback deal as been pwned).

Plus I just <3 datamining and obviously that's a major plus for Party.

What Party Debacle?

I'm clearing off a bonus right now. Granted it isn't 7x, it's 12 times, but that's still more lucrative than most places. Actually, the best place these days is UB. The reload bonuses stack (which gives you as much time as you need to clear them) and the quality of competition is lower now than it used to be a year ago.

I don't play with a rakeback because I always have a bonus to clear. I don't play as much as you guys. Should I be looking at rakeback too?

it's close. i think at 2/4 you get about 10% less raked hands now. it went from ~70% to ~60%.

I can't take that place. It takes forever to get raked hands on those super tight tables and the software is mediocre at best.
