Default Question about MTT\'s

I was in the Poker Stars BLOG Tournament yesterday and after 1 orbit there were 6 people sitting out.

Personally I think this is cheating although I understand the idea.

Is there nothing that can be done? I doubt it but it sort of pissed me off. Along with losing trip Aces to a back door 5-9 straight. I hate NL. LOL

At least I know someone that bumped out Wesley Crusher!

How is someone sitting out cheating?

You do realize that they will be forced to post their blinds regardless, and will also instafold every hand, no matter what. The table I was at at first had 5 people sitting out, and I was mowing thru the 3 others without even halfway paying attention to it. Had an 8000 stack by first hour only showing down 2 hands.

You should welcome free chips, not get mad because they choose to fold every blind they get.

If half the table is dealt out, then treat as a shorthanded table...

yea yea - cheating was not the correct term. sorry - more like lazy I suppose. Obviously it's a well known and much utilized strategy and we're all here to make money.

I feel that if you going play the game - play the game.

I understand that people don't have the will power to pass up good cards so sitting out is a valid option.

you realize they're sitting out because they were preregistered and forgot about it right?

If you ever play the 'Weekly Round 2' don't be surprised if you're the only one at your table sitting in.
