Default ps 5/10 deepstacked. Fire again? Turn action?

not many reads; I don't know villain too well, but he seems slightly weak tight. Seen maybe 100 hands with him at this point. I believe (tho am not sure) that he has just moved up to 5/10.

the only hand he is folding to a huge river bet is AA/KK/QQ.

and from how he played it with both the flop min-raise and the turn under-bet in position combined with his call of your big turn check-raise, i don't think any of those are even that likely.

if he isn't so tight that he couldn't open 77/44, then i wouldn't be surprised at all to see either of those, if not nuts JJ.

even if he were playing AK awkwardly on the flop, he isn't calling the turn check-raise unless he picked up a draw. which got there.

Problem is that you dont know villain well enough to trust that he'll fold an overpair. If this is a regular you have all sorts of options on the river because there arent any really convenient draws for him to put you on (except maybe 56 or 53, etc). The problem is it just fcking sucks to pot the river and watch a terrible villain insta call with QQ.

Sometimes I'll feel brave and pot it or all in vs an unknown, but I really find myself giving up maybe more than I should. It's obvious the villain has a made hand he wants to show down.

if you shove it in this river, is he gonna fold AA-QQ? because its obviously what he has. at times i pat myself on the back too much for making good reads on people's hands, but at the same time not getting a good enough read on his play, i.e. is he willing to fold that said hand i put him on?

this means a lot of hands like "you have QQ, but you can't possibly call this raise with that. oh wtf? you did?! [censored], you fish! how could you call that?! rebuy!"

A set or 35[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]/56[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]? Depends how thinking Villain is and how tricky he thinks Hero is for whether he'll read the turn c/r as someone who just picked up a flush draw. It's not completely unreasonable. And a set could obviously play the hand like this. This is basically stereotypical set line from Hero, no?

Why not? Many people will push the river with a monster here assuming that Villain can't lay down once he calls the turn check/raise. Assuming Villain knows this, he may well lay down an overpair. You would really not push the river here with set or flush?
