Default World Series of Gambling Decathlon

Hey all,

Next month, I am holding the first ever World Series of Gambling Decathlon (WSOGD).

It will be nine friends and myself (10 total) and the buyin will be $100.

All events will earn points on the following scale:
1st = 10 points
2nd = 8 points
3rd = 6 points
4th = 4 poitns
5th = 2 points

Payouts will be for winning an individual event, and prizes for 1st 2nd and third overall

The events will be:
1) Miniature Golf - 18-holes
2) Horse Racing - Start with $25 (separate from the $100 buyin) and you have 45 minutes to make as much as possible with 1x wagering requirements
Then it is on to my house for the remaining events:
3) NLHE - 10 man Tourney
4) BlackJack Tourney
5) Let it Ride Tourney
6) Bingo (During dinner)
7) Rocks Paper Scissors
8) Craps (yes, I built a table last year)
9) Pai Gow Tourney
10) Roulette (acquiring a wheel soon)

Why I am posting this is to gain any suggestions/alternatives to what I am listing above.

According to my calculations, it should run from 11am - midnight or so.

So, any suggestions on format, additional events?

Thanks

Acey Ducey is not a terrible idea. May have to throw it in.

The mini-golf and the track are early so as to not have to have us driving in case we happen to indulge in a few adult beverages.

And rocks paper scissors has MUCH more strategy than the average bear would think.

I dont have RPS-Tracker, but I am pretty sure that I am crusing RPS for about 5bets/100 rounds

All pick a player playing in whatever WSOP event is on that day. The further your runner gets, the better you do.

Sorry Tob,

I live in PA, but this not so much an invite as a request for suggestions to alter/improve/add to my event.

While this may not be the "best forum" for this, you all are the ones that I rely on for gambling advice.

Lor,

Very nice idea. Is there way to determine the standings at the end of the day? Some site online?

Thanks for any input others as well. I am looking forward to the WSOGD, and any advice is great.

This is a good/fun idea.

I'm from PA, but you don't want me tearing you guys to shreds in mini-golf.

Different sites offer different quality of coverage.

We'll know after a few days in June which are the ones worth following this year, and what information is available.
