The question is, did anyone accurately predict the superfecta, and if so, how much did they bet?

If someone DID NOT hit the super, then the payout would have said...

10-18-4-all

Which indicates that anyone with the first three right split it.

Since it listed it as it did, at least one person hit it.

a $2, 20-horse superfecta box would have cost "only" $232,560.

the superfecta handle for the Derby was $7,422,552.00, minus a 19% takeout. odds of hitting it was 864253.50 to 1, so the total amount of the entire pool that wagered correctly was...7 dollars.

whether it was 7 different people with $1 boxes, 1 guy with a $7 box, or anything in between, we may never know.
