Default Interesting thing I heard today...

Absent the Super Bowl nipplegate scandal, over 99.86% of the complaints filed with the FCC this year all originated from the Parent's Television Council.

They're some watchdog group that rates tv programs for family friendliness. The have an Alert feature where people can be sent e-mails when offending material airs. From what I understand, the alerts have a link to file a complaint with the FCC.

I saw that too. The FCC's "we'll only investigate something if there's a complaint" strategy may be backfiring on them. The indecency police mobilized and they're overrun with complaints now.
