They created various identities of boys and girls of various ages (all minors) and waited for the men to solicit them, in order to avoid entrapment.

Hearing that she 'defended' these guys reminds me of O'Reilly's constant claims the last few months that the left-leaning networks and newspapers are also 'defending' pedophiles, which is ridiculous.

I watched this, and a number of things didn't add up. Wouldn't the police be arresting these guys? A number of them basically admitted, on camera, that they were there to have sex with a minor. IIRC, one says "Hey, I'm a lonely guy." WTF?

If they are aranging the meetups in public places, then there is nothing to prevent NBC from airing video of them. Just like if you are walking down the street and into a camera shot, you have no recourse.

This is interesting because the age of consent in Canada is 14 years old. If a fourteen year old meets up with someone older this would not be a legal issue.
The guys caught are not really pedophiles if the kids are past puberty. This is more of a social thing. There is a knee jerk reaction that anybody under 18 is totally off limits and it is morally wrong to engage in a sexual relationship with them, where in other cultures this is acceptable practice.
