Default 2 big pair hands... I\'m having doubt on both plays.

Hand 1. Call or already convinced QQ isn't gonna do the job.? Villian is 54/6/0.40 so I think he has a K or an 8 and can't see him bluffin.

Hero is CO with Q[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] Q[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]

<font color="blue">SB folds</font>, <font color="blue">BB folds</font>, <font color="red">Hero RAISES</font>, <font color="green">Button Calls</font>

(2 players) FLOP: 9[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 8[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 8[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] ( Pot Size: 4.67 BB )
<font color="red">Hero BETS</font>, <font color="green">Button Calls</font>

(2 players) TURN: K[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] ( Pot Size: 5.67 BB )

UTG is 20/3/2.8 (35)

(I suck at poker, my advice is likely wrong)

Hand 1

I think that the line you took is good. I may be tempted to call down, but the only thing that I would put the villan on that you are ahead of is 9x. If this was his hand I don't think that he would have raised the turn, so even this is unlikely. If he is really aggressive I may put him on a flush draw, but that he would have to be pretty aggressive (if this is the case he could have something like ATs or AJs).

Hand 2

I don't put either of them on JJ or QQ based on preflop play. Therefore, you are only behind to QJ or 66. It would be tough for me to put anyone on such a small range, but I would take my foot off the gas in a significant way. I could see them more likely having something like KJ or KQ, or even JT, TT, flush draw, etc.

While I am thinking that I would call down, I think that it could get very expensive as it looks like it could go down to a riasing war on future streets. This is likely a leak in my game.

Hand 2: You have to see a turn here. Your PT stats are meaningless. I vote just call. If the action remains crazy you can probably drop it on the turn.

How many hands do you have on villian in hand 1? If it's a decent sample, I think you have to fold the turn. 0.4 aggression isn't raising with a 9 here I don't think. I'm not even sure if he raises a K.

I agree with KidColin about hand 2. You don't have enough hands on the villians to fold it. I call and re-evaluate on the turn.
