Default Doyle Brunson and a New Book

I was re-reading Super Systems this weekend and thought about something: Wouldn't it be awesome if Doyle Brunson wrote a new book? But not on poker strategy but on How the Poker has changed since the publication of 'Super Systems'.

Two plus Two or Somebody should approach him on this. Mason, call him and ask. Any thoughts?

Mason, call him and ask.

Well, since you put it that way I'm sure he'll get right on that.

The rumor is he that he is writing a new book, I think I heard that on RGP, so reliability is suspect.

Yeah, I heard it's called "Lesbian Nurses II".

Apparently it's quite good.

The movie should be even better.

Considering that Doyle has frequently mentioned that he wishes he'd never written the book, I doubt he's planning on doing another.

At the Bike the last Saturday before the Legends WPT Final there was a seminar hosted by Warren Karp featuring Jennifer Harmon, Daniel Negreanu, TJ Cloutier and Brad Dougherty. There was reference made to an upcoming "Super System 2" and it appeared at least Jennifer has some involvement. I don't know the details but this might be a good question for RGP (Warren and Daniel monitor that newsgroup).

Hi Everyone:

My understanding is that an effort to put this book together will happen. This comes from a short conversation that I had a couple of months ago with Doyle. As to whether this effort will be successful is something that I can't answer. I do know that no Two Plus Two authors (at this moment) will participate.

Best wishes,
Mason
