Gene Simmons\' Rock School
It's on VH1 right now. I think I may end up enjoying this show. He takes the outsider in the class (all English boarding school music prodigies) and makes him the new lead singer in the class's rock band. No one likes the kid but Gene. It shows him in his room, after being chosen, singing along to Crazy Crazy Nights. It reminded me of being that age- all akward, sitting in my room listening to KISS.

kiss was my favorite band as a kid, i was way into them until my early teenage years
