Can I let this go???
STT poster, thanks for letting me join the cash forum party
NL brick and Mortar, San Diego, $1/3 Blinds Hero is MP2 with ~$200 Villian is BB ~$250, my read on him is LAG-ish but semi-solid Hero is dealt TT Folds to Hero. Hero raises to $20. Folds to BB, who calls. Pot ($40) Flop A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] T[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (blank)[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] Villian Checks. Hero Checks. (time for the rope-a-dope with the rainbow board) (Pot $40) Turn Q[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] Villian bets $40, hero raises to $80. Villian calls. At this point I am thinking AQ or AJ, maybe AK but no re-raise on flop makes me discount it. River J[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] Villian is all-in (has Hero covered) Hero????? |

Re: Can I let this go???
I agree and feel this was the leak...however, I am almost certain he would have called even a push...
But assume you jacked the re-raise, do you call the river bet? |

Re: Can I let this go???
I fold this. AK, especially with the K of spades seems very possible. I probably wouldn't reraise OOP with AK off.
I don't think I check the flop. He called $20 preflop. Very possible he hit the ace. If not, you're probably not going to get action anyway, unless you let him catch up. With the turn, you know the min raise is bad. You say you think he'd call a push, so it sounds like you're being results oriented with this hand. |
