Does anyone fold top two?
30-60 game at the Commerce that I shouldn't be in. I'm dealt K[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] Q[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] in the cutoff. All fold to me and I raise. Button and BB call. Flop is:
K[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 8[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 4[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]. BB bets, I raise, button folds, BB calls. Turn is: [K[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 8[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 4[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]] Q[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]. BB checks, I bet, BB raises. This sounds silly, but is folding such a bad play? |

Re: Does anyone fold top two?
You're getting 8 to 1 on a call and you have 4 outs at a chance of 11 to 1. If you're certain that he wouldn't check raise without a flush then folding is clearly +EV is it not?
I would call against an unknown. Fold against a rock. |

With the size of the pot and his suckout equity, Mike only has to currently have the best hand something like 10% of the time to make calling down profitable. |
