Default NIT final

Like St. Joe's -1--here's why:

1. Better coach--Martelli over Odom
2. More weapons--Gamecocks don't have enough firepower.
3. Better defense--Hawks have played great defensively throughout the tournament
4. Motivation--St. Joe's wants redemption for last year's early NCAA exit.

I like them too. Apparently it's a public play, but I still think it'll cash. The Gamecocks beat Maryland soundly, but both teams played fairly sloppy. St. Joes plays with much more discipline. Plus St Joe's free throw shooting has improved recently, while South Carolina is bad at the line.

South Carolina chokes, in all the wrong places. I'm shocked we've made it this far...

I remember sitting under the basket shooting the b-ball games my junior and senior year. The floor would shake when we made the first basket, everyone thought BJ Mackie was headed to the NBA and there was no way we'd lose in the first round of the NCAAs -again-.

They choke.

what an incredible end to the game

living 5 minutes from the campus and having many friends and ex-fu[/i]ckbuddies that went there, sad that the hawks lost (hurt more last year tho) - what a fantastic game and again just an incredible ending

congrats to the cocks
