Default (33) hand-push or peel?

i had gotten my stack chopped down a little when my KK lost to a short stack all in AQ. oh well.

stacks:
Hero- T1870
MP-T2670

blinds are 50/100 5 players left.
MP limps, and so does two others, Hero on the button with A [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]7 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] i raise to 500, and folded to MP who calls.

flop is (A [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 5 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 6 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img])
Villain bets 300, Hero???

my thoughts- the tiny bet into the flop set off alarms, either he hit his hand hard or he is scared. if the ace hit him then it most likely hit him better than me. i have some fold equity here, and if i start calling off my stack i feel i am going to have to make a move later anyway.
