Default C/R on flop?

Try a C/R on flop? Was the bet on the turn a mistake?

I'm quite a beginner, first hand I post on this forum.

No checko-raiso.
Flop=bet
Turn=bet
River=bet and a fold to the raise.

The flop lead is fine. It's the one way to make sure a bet goes in on the flop. And if you get raised, that may protect your hand, and then you get to 3-bet.

The turn card sucks. Unless your opponents are very loose flop peelers, it's hard to imagine that the king didn't at least hand one of your three opponents a gutshot. (So you're not taking the pot immediately.) And there's a good chance you just fell behind instead.

I'd probably lead again though, like you did, grumbling at my computer while I bet. You're in a very uncomfortable position on the turn.
