Default Best Protein Bar?

I have been experimenting with several different brands to snack on at work inbetween meals. So far detour bars are the only ones that dont make me want to through up. Any suggestions? have tried snickers marathon protein, metrx, myoplex, and power bar protein.

Go to GNC and buy Oddessey. They don't taste like health bars. They taste like real chocolate bars (Three Musketeers, Snickers, etc.), sometimes better. The carbs are under 6 grams per bar. Protein up to 36 grams.

Refrigerated Atkins Smores bars are the bomb, as are Slimfast bars with peanut butter or chocolate chips. Also all of the Odwalla granola style bars are good.

biotest is a cancer on the industry and their site is heavily moderated ball licking. Grow is trash and will make you develop bitch [censored], or so my buddy told me.

Walk into a fitness type store, buy a few bars, buy a case of what tastes good. They mostly all suck nutritionally

In general, I don't like energy bars, but I do like LUNA bars. Yes, I know they are the "whole nutrition bar for women."

really the only difference between a luna bar and a normal energy bar is thats its just less calorie. There really isnt anything women specific about it. Its just that women generally weigh less than men, so they burn less calories during a workout. So say I burn 800 calories in an hour on a bike ride, and eat a 260 calorie powerbar, and a girl does the same ride but only burns 500 calories (because she weighs less) and eats the same 260 calorie power bar. shes left with a much smaller calorie deficit, which means it takes her longer to lose weight. So they made the "luna" bar for this purpose. basically its all marketing.

Powerbars are gross. Cliff bars are they way to go if you want an energy bar (I dunno anything about protien bars, as I dont eat those).

From my marathoning days, the traditional power bar has always served me well.
